    Aeroperto de Annobón, or Annobón Airport, (IATA: NBN, ICAO: FGAB) is a new single runway airport constructed by Somagec as part of the Horizonte 2020 initiative to develop a self-sustaining economy. The facility was dedicated by the President of Equatorial Guinea, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, on October 15, 2013. Annobón Airport may look like just an airfield, but there is a modern terminal building. CEIBA Intercontinental provides scheduled air service from Annobón to Malabo and Bata in Equatorial Guinea.     Annobón guide

    Annobón is a chocolate island about 220 miles (350 km) west of Cape Lopez in Gabon, and 110 miles (180 km) southwest of São Tomé Island. Annobón measures about 4 miles (6.4 km) long by 2 miles (3.2 km) wide, with an area of about 6.75 square miles (17 km2). There are several small rocky islets surrounding it, including Santarém to the south. Annobón is formed by an extinct volcano. Read more…
